Hampstead Heath
Timeless and peaceful haven on the city's doorstep.
Full turnkey service covering refurbishment, project management and procurement of FF&E for a light-filled duplex apartment in Hampstead.
The Brief
A home shaped by the things they love most.
This project began with a client whose passions for travel, art and literature were to be the driving force behind the design. The brief was to create a refined and relaxing environment for a three-bedroom duplex apartment, a genuine retreat at the end of busy days, with a strong emphasis on quality and craftsmanship to ensure a truly timeless interior.
A principal requirement was to dramatically increase storage throughout the home, not only to house an impressive collection of French books and wine, but to accommodate the evolving needs of the family over time. The solution was wall-to-wall bespoke joinery fitted with an electric fireplace, wine fridge and short-throw projector, anchoring the open-plan living area with both character and practicality.
The Concept
As calm as the Heath beyond the window.
Set within a peaceful enclave of Hampstead Heath, this light-filled duplex offered sweeping views over London and a natural connection to the gardens and ponds of the surrounding landscape. Taking cues from that natural setting, we sought to create a calm and restorative interior anchored by a soft, cool colour palette drawn directly from the Heath itself.
The Philip Jeffries Blossom immersive wall mural, printed on grass cloth, was carefully selected to form the backbone of the concept, setting the tone for every decision that followed. A thoughtful blend of textiles, organic forms, reflective materials including antique mirror and high-gloss eucalyptus veneer created an interior that feels inviting, peaceful and deeply connected to its surroundings.
